(1) Based on the request made for mutual legal assistance in accordance with section 15, if a written document is received from a foreign state in the name of the person concerned, it shall be considered that the document has been duly served in his name.
(2) If a foreign state refuses to serve a deadline or a judicial document on the basis of a request for mutual legal assistance in accordance with section 15, or if such country informs the court through diplomatic channels that the deadline or a judicial document has not been served due to the fact that such person has not been located or identified, such country shall inform the court through the central authority through diplomatic channels. Such deadline or the execution of the judicial document shall be published in a national level daily newspaper of the country where the person resides or of Nepal.
(3) According to sub-section (2), if the deadline or judicial document is served, it shall be considered that the deadline or judicial document has been duly served.
